Songerama of '59 To Be Presented By Al-Po-Li Choraliers The employees and friends of Allison Division, G.M.C., Indianapolis Power and Light Company, and Eli Lilly and Company will be entertained by the AL-PO-LI Choraliers on January 28 in Manual High School Auditorium. The program, to be called “Songerama of ’59” is the second to be presented by the Choraliers. Their name, “AL-PO-LI,” incorporates the names of the three companies and is the conbination of the Allison Male Chorus, the IPALCO Choir and the Eh Lilly Mixed Chorus. Wally Nehrling of station WIRE will act as master of ceremonies and Charles Boswell, Mayor of Indianapolis will be special guest. The program will begin at 8:00 p.m. There will be no charge for the program, but admission will be by ticket only. Tickets can be obtained through “Allisonews,” the Eli Lilly Employee Activities department and from IPALCO chorus members. , In addition to singing as a combined group, the individual choruses sing at churches, lodges, and other organizations. Requests for engagements can <be made through employee relations at Allison Division; employee activities at Eli Lilly Company; and personnel department at Indianapolis Power and Light Compaq St Anthony's Dance St. Anthony’s Men’s Club is sponsoring a dance for adults to be held Friday night, January 23rd, in the parish hall at 379 North Warman Avenue. Birds' Nests Program At Children's Museum Birds* nests will be the subject of the Wide World of Nature program at the Children’s Museum, 3010 North Meridian Street, from 11 to 12 o’clock Saturday. Everyone is invited to attend free of charge. Mrs. John C. Tacoma, a former member of the Museum staff, will display many bird’s nests from her own collection, and will explain how the different kinds of nests are constructed. She will describe ground nests, perching and hanging nests, and those plastered against bridges, chimneys, and walls, and the ways that the different builders adapt their nests to the type of life they
