About this time every year some of our customers ask. “How coma my EfocMk bill is higher?” So we get out the calendar. What’s the calendar got to do with your EfodricbUl? Just about everything. When days are shorter and nights are longer, you use more lighting. (Christ* mas lights, too.) When it’s cold, your furnace motors and blowers run oftener. (Remember that below zero weather?) When the holiday season comes around, you have more company... cook more meals . . . wash more dishes ... stay up longer. (Thanksgiving, Christmas. New Year’s... and Jack Paar.) When water's to be heated, It’s colder to start with. When you stay indoors more, you use your appliances more. (By the way, what new appliances have you added?) No. Power & Light’s E/ecMc rates haven’t gone up. You’re just living more •.. and better... E/vcfricai/y.

“Dare We Live in the Household of God?” Sub-themes will be: “The Nature and Purpose of the Church” and “Risks of Being a Member of the Church.” The rally will be held at Roberts Park Methodist Church, 401 N.
