Park area. Inquiries are received prac-4 tically every day at the Town Hall about the goings-on at the Atkinson shopping Center site. We understand that the ground? is being conditioned now for construction in the early spring. The Indianapolis Police Department and the Marion County Sheriffs Office have requested permission to construct a target range on property belonging to Dotlich Brothers located on West 10th St. Chief Collins will contact property owners in that area to see if there would be any objectors.
The Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners invited all governmental units within Marion County to appear the week of December Bth to present any evidence that might help the Tax Board in reaching a proper conclusion in finally determining the, budget rates and levies of their particular government. Speedway officials for both the School and the Town will appear December 9th. The Town is requesting $1.34 per each SIOO property valuation. As soon as the State Board releases their approved rates, we will give you a complete breakdown of the total property tax. Woe unto them that are tired of everything, for everything will certainly be tired of them. Wayne Baxter
