GIRL SCOUT NEWS On Tuesday evening a committee meeting was held at the home of Kate Brothers to plan the program for Troop 178 for the balance of the year. International Friendship Day, Cooky Sales, earning of badges and an overrate trip to Camp Dellwood were ju?t a few topics discussed. At the regular Troop 178 meeting on Thursday, plans were made for a Valentine party to be held in February. The first Patrol will have charge of the program, second Patrol in charge of refreshments and the third Patrol will be responsible for decorations. Helen Gordon was hostess at this meeting and Barbara Glidden will act as hostess at the next regular meeting.

"SONGARAMA 1958" Uncle Wally Nehrling, popular WIRE early morning announcer, will act as master of ceremonies for the “Songarama of 1958” to be held at the Manual High School Auditorium on Jan. SO. The “Songarama of 1958” is being presented for the enjoyment of employees and friends of Allisons, Indianapolis Power and Light Company, and Eli Lilly Co. The “Choraliers” feature the combined singing groups of Allisons, Indianapolis Power and Light Company and Eli Lilly and Company and total approximately 120 voices. The program will get under way at P p.m. and the admission is free. Uncle Wally Nehrling can be heard on WIRE every morning beginning at 5 a.m. on “Dawn Patrol.”
