Y.M.C.A. Basketball The first week of competition in the West District YMCA Junior Church Basketball League, at the West Newton Gymnasium, showed the following results: Mt. Olive Methodist 27, Plainfield Christian 22; Lynhurst Baptist 28, Plainfield Methodist 22; Memorial Baptist 2, Ben Davis Christian 0 (forfeit). In the Young Men’s League, Bridgeport Methodist trounced Plainfield Christian by a score of 81 to 25; Ben Davis Christian won over Faith Lutheran by a 65 to 44 margin and Lynhurst Baptist forfeited to Decatur Bethel Methjodist.
