St. Christopher’s Catholic Church 5335 W«t 16th Street Rev. L. A. Lindemann Pastor Rev. R. J. Terrill Assistant Pastor Sunday Masses: . 6—7—8—9—10:30 and 11:30 am. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day. Let us all give thanks to God for our very being and our freedom which our forefathers came over to this country to have and to enjoy. Perhaps the most pleasing thanks to Almighty God would be our presence at Holy Mass and the reception of Holy Communion. Mass will be at 8 o’clock. Holy Communion will be distributed earlier at frequent intervals as usual. All members of the Altar Society are reminded that Sunday, December Ist, is their Communion Sunday. Ladies are asked to gather in the social room preceding the 8 o’clock Mass and go in a body into the church. Many additional blessings are gained by corporate Holy Communion. Invitations to all ladies of St. Christopher parish were passed out to each lady as she entered or left the church at all the Masses Sunday—invitation to the annual Altar Society Christmas party, Wednesday night, December 4. They will gather in the social room at 6:30 for a covered dish buffet supper. Each lady has been requested to bring a covered dish and her own table service. The meat, rolls and drinks will be furnished by the committee. 'Also, each lady has been asked to bring a twenty-five cent all “Christmasy” wrapped for the exchange which will be a part of the evening’s festitives. And as has been the custom, each lady has been asked to bring canned goods for the Little Sisters of the Poor. This party will be an excellent opportunity to make new friends and to renew old acquaintances. Mesdames Thomas Joyce (Rachel) and Robert Kikendall (Shannon) are cochairmen for the party. They will be assisted by a large committee —Bemetta Hiland, Helen Hissam, Helen Houk, Morelia Hughes, Nancy Hunt, Mrs. J. Hutchins, Lucille James, Ramona Jarmon, Helen Jenkerson, •Anita Jennings, Gertrude Joyce, Ruth Kasnak, Leona Kaufman, Kay Keating, Helen Keating, Gladys Keller, Mildred Keller, P.
