ST. ANDREW’S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Continued from page 1) WEDNESDAY, September 11. SENIOR CHOIR PRACTICE at 8:00 p.m. in the Choir of the church. THURSDAY, September 12. The NURSERY GUILD meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall at 8:00 p.m. An out-of-town guest speaker will give our program. We cordially extend our welcome hand to all the ladies of our church and friends who are interested in our Nursery. We will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Sunday, September 8, 1957, the Twelfth Sunday after Trinity, at the 11:00 a.m. Service. CONFIRMATION CLASSES for seventh and eighth graders will begin Sunday evening, September 22, 1957. HAVE YOU EVER WITNESSED FOR THE LORD? A Christian has opportunity to witness to his faith and his Lord in many ways. His lips and his life are living or mute testimonies to what he really believes. During Mission Week, each of us will be given opportunity to witness in special ways. Some will be preparing the services each evening. Some will be commissioned to call on the unchurched of our community. Each organization will have the chance of meeting with our Missioner following an evening service to discover how they may witness more fully in their organizational life. All of us may begin by planning on participating in the evening services each night Sunday, October 13, through Thursday, October 18, 1957.
