During World War II he served in the U. S. Army Air Force for nearly five years and was a prisoner of war for 10 months in the European theater. Before joining Pitman-Moore Company in April, 1956, Mr. Jacks was employed for more than ten years by another pharmaceutical firm in Decatur, 111. Married, he has four children ranging in age from 5 to 15 years. The Jacks family soon will move from New York to Indianapolis where Mr. Jacks has assumed his new duties.
