Drivers Training Scholarships For the fourth consecutive year, the Indiana University Foundation has received a $3,000 grant from the All-state Foundation to provide for Summer scholarships for high school teachers of driver training. Since the college grant program was originated in 1953, Calhoun said, a half-million individuals have been trained. This year the grant program is being expanded to 42 colleges and universities. I.U. this summer will offer scholarships in driver training education in the Intersession, May 28-June 12; Regular Session, June 12-Aug. 9, and Short Session, Aug. 9-24.
