Wright will speak at both services of worship on Sunday, May 26. The Crusaders Choir will sing, “The Waves of Galilee,” by Gabriel at the 9:30 o’clock service. At the 11:00 o’clock service, Hanford Lloyd will sing the offertory. The Chancel Choir will sing the anthem, “Lamb of God,” by Soderman. At the 11:00 o’clock service the High School graduates will be honored. INTERMEDIATE MYF will meet at 6:00 p.m., May 26, for refreshments and recreation. Don’t forget our “Progressive Meal” June 2! ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued trom Page 1) Next Tuesday, May 28th, the eighth grade will go picnicking. Wednesday, May 29th, the day before the 500—Safety Day —will be a free day at St. Christopher school. MASSES ON THURSDAY, May 30th, Ascension Thursday—6:oo, 7:30 and 9:00 in the morning and at 4:00, 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Ascension Day is a Holy Day of Obligation. We should all offer up our early Mass intentions for the safety of all persons connected with the Memorial Day Race. Men of St. Christopher parish are offered the opportunity to make a Retreat at the Alverna Retreat House in Indianapolis * on June 7-9. Retreats are spiritual vacations, so to speak, a time when we shut out the world. They are good for saint and sinner alike. Every man of the parish endeavors to make a Retreat if not once a year every two years. William Meyer (CH. 4-0283) and James Breen (CH. 4-1348) may be contacted for details. While the amount received from the sale of rags by the school children was not large—s4B.s7—it will buy just that many more books for their library, and they wish to thank everyone who helped. Mary Ann was born on May sth. / After the eight o’clock Mass, June 2d, the Mothers and Daughters will breakfast together. Plan now to receive corporate Holy Communion on that day, and mothers who haven’t a daughter arrange to borrow or steal one for that occasion. Thursday, June 20th, the ladies of St. Christopher have been invited to join with the ladies of the Cathedral in a Day of Recollection at the Fatima Retreat House in Indianapolis. O’Neal was remembered this morning at the request of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Dugan: and, tomorrow Al Aulbach will be remembered as requested by the James Gillespie family.
