Industrial Division Goes Over The Top For Baseball The Industrial and Merchants Division exceeded its goal in the current drive for funds for the Speedway Baseball Association. Freeman D. Ketron and S. Robert McMahon, the fund raising committee, reported the largest amount ever raised in the town for this very worthwhile summer program. The firms and organizations who participated included the Speedway Merchants Association, The Allison Division of General Motors Corporation, Electric Steel Castings, The American Legion Speedway Post, The Speedway Lions Club, The Speedway Lioness Club. It is expected that more will be heard from before the campaign is closed. The Committee expresses its sincere appreciation for the support given to it by these civic minded firms and people.
