Piano Recital Virginia Quebbeman and Marjorie Shelly are joining to present their students in a piano recital Friday evening, May 24, 1957, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Annex of the Speedway High School. The public is welcome to attend. The students of Mrs. Quebbeman are Janet Clark, Richard Griffith, Doris Hitchcock, Linda Harris, Ruth Ann Schnable, Janet Thompson, Karen Rudman, and Virginia Mitchell. The following are Mrs. Shelly’s students: Anita Beatty, Helen Bledsoe, Sharon Durr, David Hissam, Bill Hissam, Sandy Hitchcock, Gordon Meggenhofen, Kathleen Kruse, and Richard Stanton. Speedway American Auxiliary-Na. 198 Poppies will be sold 'on the streets of Speedway by the ladies of the Speedway American Legion Auxiliary on Friday, May 24 and on Saturady, May 25. We hope you will contribute generously to help the disabled veteran and his family. On Thursday, May 30th, at 3 a.m. until the race starts, the ladies of the Auxiliary will serve breakfast to the vsitors to the race. A hot breakfast of ham and eggs, toast, and coffee will be served.
