Devotions, led by Mr. Neef, a business meeting, and miniature golf are the activities planned. In case of rain, recreation will be provided at the church. Plans for a picnic June 9 will be discussed, for a wonderful evening, come and join in the fun. The MEN’S CLUB will have their dinner meeting Monday evening, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $1.25. Movies of the 1956 “500 Mile Race” will be shown. All men of the church are invited to attend. All reservations must be in on or before Friday evening, May 17, by calling Roy Vehling at CH. 4-4560. ALL MEN participating with the Every Member Canvass will meet at the Church for a training session on Monday, May 20, at 8:00 o’clock, following the Men’s Club meeting. AMITY CIRCLE will meet at the Parish House on Tuesday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m., with Louise Leatherman, Jean Jones, Orthella TenEick and Vera Ryden as hostesses. For our last meeting, let’s make it 100% attendance. Dentist of The Year Dr. Louis F. Icerman, Muncie, has been named to receive the annual “Dentist Of The Year” award, the Indiana State Dental Association monthly magazine announced today. Dr. Icerman will receive his award as a highlight of the statewide Dental Convention to be held at the Claypool Hotel, Indianapolis, May 20-22. In honoring Dr. Icerman, the dental publication stated that he “epitomizes dedicated service to the community and to the profession.” It pointed out that Dr. Icerman, who has been in practice more than 50 years, “fosters the highest principles in the practice of dentistry.” Born in DeGraff, Ohio, in 1881,

Dr. Icerman began his practice in New Castle but has practiced in Muncie for more than 40 years. He and his wife, Leota, have two sons and six grandchildren. More than 2200 dentists, hygientists and dental assistants from throughout the state will attend the three-day conclave. Dr. Paul H. Asher, Gary, is President of the Association.
