December is the month for giving and receiving; give the right-of-way to other drivers and receive added years of living. The Allstate Safety Crusade advises, don’t give your life for Christmas. Good motu.ists know that during cold weather shady spots on the road may contain ice, frost or snow. Fog reflects light, so during foggy weather car headlights should be kept on lower beam, reducing glare. The National Safety Council states that the average driver will be involved in from three to five reportable traffic accidents during his lifetime. bottleneck to traffic, especially when streets are slippery. The Allstate Safety Crusade advises motorists to let the car motor idle long enough to raise oil pressure to the midpoint on the gauge to avoid stalls, traffic tieups and accidents. More than 35 per cent of trainautomobile collisions last year resulted from motorists driving into the sides of trains.
