The Cancel bouquet for next Sunday will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Norris in memory of Mr. Norris’ father. SENIOR HI C.Y.F. All who attended the Retreat at McCormick’s Creek State Park last week-end report having a wonderful time and wish to express their appreciation for all who made'it possible. Next Sunday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 the regular meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall. Included in the program will be a skit,' “A Drop In The Bucket.” For those parents who may be planning a trip to Brown County some Sunday, please hold October 21st open as the C.Y.F. wish to invite them to their meeting on that date when Dr. Das, of Calcutta, India, will be the special guest speaker. EDUCATION COMMITTBB will meet Monday, October Bth at 7:30 in the Junior Hi Room. OFFICIAL BOARD. Tuesday, October 9, at 7:30 there will be a special called meeting of the entire Official Board to confer with representatives from the Wells Organization relative to the status of our Building Fund. ' The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization open to all women interested in encouraging citizens to become better informed about the vital issues of the day. League members study and act on local, state and national issues. The organization’s current local program includes action to provide health and safety protection for children attending private kindergartens an<f nursery schools in Marion County, a study of rehabilitation and prevention of slum areas in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area and a study of nominating procedures of the Indianapolis School Board. On a state-wide basis, the League is interested in action to secure home rule for Indiana cities and towns and reapportionment of the state legislature. National issues to which the League is giving special attention include a study of the federal loyalitysecurity programs and the problems of conservation with a beginning study of water resources. In addition to its program of issues, the League also has an active informational program at registration and election time. The organization also has members present at all cessions of the state legistlative, meetings of the Indianapolis city council, the county council and at city and county budget hearings.

B:oo—Cloister Choir (High School) KINDERGARTEN INSTITUTE. This institute will be held at the University Park Christian Church, Saturday, October 13th from 9:00 to 4:00 and will be of special benefit to those interested in teaching kindergarten children. LEADERSHIP SCHOOL. A Training School of Religion, sponsored by the Indianapolis Church Federation, will be held at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church for six Mondays beginning October 15th, ficm 7:30 to 9:30. All age level courses, as well as general courses, will be offered and will be of interest to anyone attending. Call Rev. Graves at the church for registration. PRIMARY-OBSERVATION PRACTICE classes to be held at the church October 16th to the 19th, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., will be for teachers, parents and others who are interested in teaching first and second grade children. They should plan to attend all these sessions. Your box bf envelopes for the new year beginning after October 31st will be ready for distribution next Sunday. Will you try to pick up your as you come in the church? We are hoping it will not be necessary to mail any of these for they are not made for mailing and are easily mutilated. ORCHIDS TO NINA BURZLAFF of Kezia Circle who has been awarded a pin for over 100 hours of service for the Little Red Door. Nina has been a faithful worker at our Service Day meetings at the church, and we are very proud of her. Mrs. William Reed of Esther Circle will robe the Cloister and Chapel Choirs and Children’s Chorale during the month of October.
