1 lb. ground lean beef 1 Tablespoon fat % cup finely cut onion 1-lb. can baked beans Vi cup Instant Pet (in (2 cups) dry form) V 4 cup catsup IV4 teaspoons salt 2 Tablespoons browtv . Vi teaspoon chili powder sugar Vs teaspoon pepper V 4 teaspoon dry mustard Mix well the beef, V 4 cup onion, Instant Pet, salt, chili powder and pepper. Then with wet hands shape into 12 balls. Brown meat balls slowly, on all sides in a skillet with the fat and Vi cup onion. Spoon off any fat around meat balls. Add a mixture of beans, catsup, brown sugar and mustard. INDIANS IN PLAYOFFS Tickets for the three games of the American Association League playoffs set for Victory Field are now on sale. The first three games of the best-out-of-seven series will be at the Indians’ home stand next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Game time will be 7:45 pan. Tickets for all the games, which may be purchased for the entire 3-game series or for a single game, are available at Victory Field or the Ross and Babcock Travel Bureau in the Claypool Hotel lobby. When the playoff dates were set up the only possibility of a postponement in the schedule would be a tie between Indians and Denver for the league pennant. Admission prices for the playoffs remain the same as the regular season games Box chairs, $1.70; Grandstand Reserved, first eight rows, $1.40; Grandstand unreserved, sl.lO. Since league qiles say no free admissions are allowed, children will see the games for these„ rates: Boxes, $1.10; Grandstand Reserved, 80 cents; Grandstand unreserved, 50 cents. Children’s prices refer to youngsters 12 years and under. Here’s how the playoffs work: The first place team of the regular season plays fourth place and second place plays third place.
