FIREWORKS SUNDAY (Continued from Page 1) of W/O Glenn Bistline, which will present a military band concert PLUS their “BAND WITHIN A BAND” which is one of the finest modern dance orchestras in the services. ' Guest speaker for the occasion will be the well known Air Force veteran Colonel Bernard Muldoon, Commanding Officer of Bunker Hill Air Force Base, who will give an interesting presentation of the importance of air power in the world today. Again this year we will be assisted by the Indiana National Guard who will display their portable lighting units and other military equipment. The Junior Baseball Association will play demonstration games on both diamonds beginning at 3:00 p.m. and there will be free DAIRY-GO-ROUND rides for the kiddies all afternoon. There will be loads of action all afternoon with demonstrations and displays and the band concert and Air Show will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until about 8:30 p.m. when the day will be climaxed by the “World of Fantasy” Fireworks Show. The entire celebration is a nonprofit community service project sponsored by the SPEEDWAY JAYCEES to promote community spirit and thereby help build an even better “home-town” and future for our children. The Jaycees will have two concession stands in the park and will serve sandwiches, ice cream and refreshments at a nominal cost to help defray the tremendous expense of the project. Bring the family and have an old fashioned “hot-dog” outing with your neighbors. The show is free FREE and open to the publie.
