SCHOOLROOM PROGRESS Education, like freedom, is everybody’s job. That’s why you can’t afford to miss SCHOOLROOM PROGRESS U.S.A. arriving here at the Indiana State Fairgrounds (R JI. siding east end of Fairgrounds), for Six days only. It’s free, it’s educational, it’s entertaining. SCHOOLROOM PROGRESS U.S.A. is sponsored by the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan, and the Encyclopedia Americana. Like the famous Freedom Train, SCHOOLROOM PROGRESS U.S,A. is an exhibit on wheels. In one railroad car you’ll find lifesized replicas of three 19th century classrooms. The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village has brought the little red schoolhouse back to life. The other car will show you what America’s leading school architects have accomplished in classroom design. Thanks to the research facilities of the Encyclopedia Americana you can see the progress that has been made in the American schoolroom in the last hundred years. The exhibit is being brought to Indianapolis as a public service of The Indiana National Bank and may be visited admission free at the east end of the Indiana State Fairgrounds (Entrance East Gate on Fall Creek Boulevard. North of 38th St.) May 8 through 14 from 9:00 ajn., to 7:00 p.m., except Sunday 2:00 to 6:00 pm. ____________ ! WHO Baattng A man convicted of wife beating caa bo whipped according to Delaware law.
