ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) would be appreciated if folks who are not relatives of these boys and girls would refrain from attending this Mass. There is about enough room for the children and six relatives of each child, so that it can be seen if more than six relatives of each child or any other folks come maybe someone will miss attending their own child’s First Communion. Other Masses on Sunday will be at the usual times, 6,8, 9, 10:30 and 11:30 o’clock. Junior CYO City Wide Picnic is to be at Camp Rancho Framasa in Brown County Sunday, April 29th. Ladies from St. Christopher who have offered to chaperon are Mesdames Eddelman, Scott and Kemp. Everybody who is going is to prepare a box lunch for themselves and meet in the school yard back of church at 11:30 Sunday morning. The chaperons will drive and some of the boys, we are told. There will be room for all, so be there by 11:30. Drinks are to be furnished by the CYO City organization. Peggy Tdam is St. Christopher CYO president. Call her at BElmont 8833 for answers to your questions. Janet Shindler will be crowned May Queen Tuesday evening, May Ist, at 8 o’clock. Sharon Riczo and Shirley Haney will be her two attendants. High Masses this week were sung on Monday morning for Catherine Keating at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keating; on Tuesday morning John R. Matelic was remembered by William Zeunik and wife; on Wednesday morning, the 24th wedding anniversary of Lawrence and Mary Kuezenski was celebrated at the request of their daughters, Patricia and Susan; the Vanard Shermans requested the Mass on Friday morning for Father Lindemann’s mother, Anna C. Lindemann; and on Thursday morning Thomas Wolfla was remembered by the family. All week day High Masses are at 8 o’clock. Practice for Confirmation will be next Friday evening, May 4th, after services. Those to be confirmed should bring along with them their sponsors and their baptismal records. The person who sponsored at baptism cannot sponsor at confirmation. Adults who have not been confirmed for one reason or another would do well to consult with Father before practice night. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred on Tuesday evening, May Bth, at 8 o’clock. May is Holy Mother’s month, the month of the Holy Rosary as well as October. Pray daily your Rosary for peeace in the world. Nora Bray

ATTENTION FANS! Here I am again to finish up the news on our Esther Williams Fan Club activities. Since last week we have taken in 5 more members, boosting our total to 90 members in 18 states and four foreigun countries. The latest excitement among our members has been the news that our gal Esther has finished her first dramatic picture costarring George Nader at Uni-versal-International Studios. George hits become an honorary member in our club and has helped us keep up to date on the picture. It was orginally titled “The Gentle Web” but George, in his latest letter, says that the new title is now officially, “The Unguarded Moment.” Our new contest, which started a tew days ago when our April bulletin was issued, is a point contest and all members are eligible. Points are given for many things done in the club including: new members brought in, articles written, for journals, boosting letters to magazines and many other things. For information concerning membership in the dub, please call BE. 2211. Esther Williams Fan Club Alice McCracken, Pres. PSI lOTA XI The April business meeting place has been changed to the home of Mrs. R. G. Foland on Thursday, the 26th. The May meetings have been changed to the first and third Thursdays.
