1956 MODEL UNITED NATIONS Organization of the 1956 Model United Nations is being completed this month and will be held April 19-21 in the House of Representatives auditorium at the Indiana State House. The work began last fall when assignment of the 66 roles was made to the members of the Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y clubs in the schools of the city and county. Members of these clubs and the International Relations Club of Shortridge high school have been studying during the school year about the countries which they have been assigned to represent in the model General Assembly this spring. “Block” parties are being organized this month at which the different groups get together and plan their strategy for next month. The questions to be debated are those current at the United Nations Assembly in New York. A group of fifteen boys and girls will be chaperoned 1 a trip to the United Nations Assembly in New York during Spring Vacation March 30 to April 8. They will pay their own expenses.
