April 29—Senior Dance. The Speedway Track Squad was victorious in two meets held last week defeating Decatur Central 73-36 on Tuesday and winning from Mooresville 75-34 on Thursday.

Speakers for the 1955 Baccalaureate and Commencement programs have been secured. Dr. Buel Horn of the South Bend Methodist Church will give the Baccalaureate sermon and Dr. Donald A. Laird, author and industrial psychologist, will deliver the Commencement address. Baccalaureate is scheduled for Sunday, May 22, and Commencement will be Friday, May 27. Members of the Future Business Leaders of America accompanied by their sponsor, Mrs. Hine, attended the Annual State Convention of FBLA at Ball State Teachers College last Friday. The High School Band received a second division rating in BB Class (over-250 enrollment) at the State Concert Band Contest at Franklin last Saturday, April 2. Congratulations to our band. -
