Henry Schricker To Head Mental Health Campaign Frank Maidenberg, President of the Indiana Association of Mental Health, has announced that former Governor Henry W. Schricker will serve as Chairman of the 1955 Fund Campaign. “Governor Schricker, now president of the Wabash Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, is the ideal man to lead us in this necessary part of our program,” Mr. Maidenberg said. “His service as governor of our state familiarized him with problems of mental illness. During his second tenure as chief administrator of our state, Mr. Schricker dedicated the Laßue Carter Hospital at Indiana Medical Center.” When he accepted the responsibility of guiding the Association in its fourth annual Fund Drive, Mr. Schricker pointed out that at the time he was serving the state, little was known about the Association, but the* hard driving and concentrated effort of volunteers has pushed the Association forward at rocket" speed. “Every Hoosier will recognize the need for the work of the Association, and will contribute gladly to support it,” Governor Schricker stated. “I have never asked Hoosiers for support on a volunteer program,” he went on to say, “that they have not supported me far beyond my hopes.” Phosphorus Deficiency The symptoms of phosphorus deficiency jn vegetable crops are slow growth and delayed maturity. An early symptom in tomatoes is the development of a reddish-purple color on the under side of the leaf. The color in the web of the leaf may first appear in spots and later spread over the entire leaf, with the veins finally becoming reddishpurple.
