OZAN MARSH TO APPER WITH PHILHARMONIC Ozan Marsh, noted concert pianist on the faculty of the Indiana University School of Music, will be guest artist for the first concert this season of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis. November 30 is the date set for the 8:30 p.m. performance in Caleb Mills Hall, with Wolfgang Vacano, also of the I.U. faculty, conducting. Indianapolis piano teachers and their pupils have been invited to be the guests of the Philharmonic at this concert. Marsh will play Beethoven’s “Concerto in E Flat Major.” The orchestra, comprised of nonprofessional musicians and students, has planned a well-balanced program including these selections: “Overture to Fingal’s Cave,” by Mendelssohn; “Pavane,” by Ravel; and the Eighth Symphony of Beethoven. Now in its 15th season, the Philharmonic has won praise from the city’s critics and music lovers. Its members are unpaid and any nonprofessional instrumentalists in the city who enjoy playing good music are .invited — by Miss Roberta Trent, concert mistress—to attend its rehearsals held at 7:30 pan. every Monday night at Roberts School at 1401 East 10th Street. The orchestra’s subscription concerts support a scholarship program which gives financial aid when needed to qualified music students. Invitations to the November 30 concert may be obtained from Philharmonic members or from George A. Smith, 3632 N. Pennsylvania, secretary of the Sponsor’s Group.

Inasmuch as the now historic London Crusade was Graham’s most ambitious endeavor, “Souls In Conflict” is his most important picture. Featured in the cast are Joan Winmill, star of the British TV thriller, “Epitaph for a Spy,” Eric Midklewood and Charles Leno.
