Professional Beauty Care Donated to School Hairdressers and cosmetologists throughout America observe November 4-11 as National Beauty Salon Week, in dedication to more beautiful women. This means everywhere, they say, and prove it by donating professional beauty care to patients in hospitals, homes for the aged, orphanages and other such institutions.

The Indiana Cosmetologist Association donates beauty work twice a week to the Marydale School, 111 West Raymond Street. This school associated with Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Their forty-two girls of all denominations are from broken homes. This beauty work is done to help their morale. The Cosmetologist Association is conducting a popularity contest next week to choose the most popular beauty operator. Customers will donate a small sum when they select their favorite beautician. Proceeds from this contest are to be used for welfare work of the association. Voting places will be shops displaying National Beauty Salon Kit material. “We sometimes meet an original gentleman, who, if manners did not exist, would invent them.”
