We are going to have a Christmas party for our mothers on December 19. Martha Preble, Publicity BROWNIE TROOP No. 143 held their Christmas party at the Girl Scout Little House Sunday, Dec. 3. It was a pitch-in dinner with our parents. We gave our parents their Christmas gifts that we had made for them and played games and sang songs. We want to thank our leaders, mothers’ committee and Mrs. Wenning for making the party a success; also, Mrs. Thompson who made the pretty table decorations. Wanda Alice Miller, Publicity December 6, Troop No. 305 held their first Court of Awards. Sixteen girls received their Second Class Badge. Margaret Adams, Ann Brockman, Aim Chadwick, Sybil Lee, Judy Mayo, Connie Mills, Glenda Roberts, Doris Flesher and Karen Green received the Colorcraft Badge, Joan Elliott, Ann Beeson, Claudine Eppen, Glenda Harlin, Linda Logston, Patty Sanders, Judy Wood, and Kay Zink received the Cook’s Badge. A ceremony was held, investing Karen Green. The tea table was arranged and tea was served by the group of girls who have worked on the Cook’s Badge. An exhibit was prepared by the Colorcraft group. Our guests included Mrs. W. L Heston, Mrs. Glenn Urban, Mrs. Elmer Emigholtz, Mrs. Grover Staley and Mothers of the girls.
