Hal Mclntyre and his orchestra, one of the country’s newest and most promising top name bands, will provide music on Sunday afternoon and evening. A cooking school, conducted by home economists of Citizens Gas & Coke Utility, is scheduled for Friday, Monday and Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. New ideas in refrigeration and food preparation, the latest food developments, and new food products will be presented by exhibitors in the food and allied fields, including the country’s leading food manufacturers and processors. The Fair is to be held daily, March 24 through March 28, in the Manufacturers Building, Indiana State Fair Grounds.. Hours are from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. Sponsor of the Food Fair is the Indiana Retail Grocers & Meat Dealers Association, whose membership includes a majority of local independent grocers. Tom Moore will bring his show to the Fair on Friday, the opening day, followed by Curley Bradley, radio’s Tom Mix, on Saturday. Dr. I. Q. will present his quiz program on Monday and Tuesday, March 27 and 28. There will be an afternoon and evening performance of each show—at 3:15 p.m. and at 8:30 p.in. Admission is twenty-five cents, including tax, for the Food Fair, all entertainment events and the cooking school During the Food Fair, association member stores throughout the State will feature special prices on food items exhibited at Indianapolis. In conjunction with the fair, the Indiana Retail Grocers and Meat Dealers Association will hold its 20th annual convention in the Indiana University Building at the Fair Grounds.
