C.YjF. is moving along fine with their able leaders. Now. with the help of the Dorcas Circle, thanks to them, they have purchased much needed recreational equipment—Shuffle Board, Ping Pong, Canasta and Records, so come on fellows and gals and try them out The C.Y.F. Retreat is being planned for June 4th. In basketball and C.Y.F. Speedway youth are doing things. More power, kids. Say, folks, you will want to lock in the kindergarten rooms at the beautiful pictures. One bird picture done by Mrs. Marjorie Maple will really open the eyes of your four and five year olds. Adding the old office room to the kindergarten is fine. It has beautiful floor covering, too. Those teachers are certainly busy, happy people. Last, but of great importance, the Nursery. Yes, the new chairs are there and with new drapes it is going to be a very cheerful place for your little ones. A book could be written on our Church School activities and leadership. To complete the evening, the C.YjF. Leaders served ice cream, cake, roll and coffee. Table decorations were lovely. Thanks Jr. C.YJ*. Our next workers conference date is March 27th. This will be a highlight in our Calendar year. Following the Training Institute will be a banquet for all Church School Workers and husbands and wives. The Rev. H. E. Anderson, former pastor of our church, will be the speaker. There will be singing and fun, so get your reservations in to Mr. Goff by March 19th. Watch the Flyer for more details.
