Our membership committee is contacting prospective members as fast as possible but of course they have not seen as many as they would like. If you are eligible for Legion membership, this is your invitation to attend our December meeting at the Post Home, 1652 Georgetown Rd., on December 13th at 8:00 p. m. We also urge those members who haven’t attended meeting because they “don’t know anyone” to come and get acquainted. You won’t get ' acquainted staying home. Our first program to familiarize members with the many worthwhile activities of the Legion will be presented at the December meeting. Charles Martin will describe his experiences and activities during his week at Boy’s State last summer. House Committee chairman Louis Reihman announced that the Post Home will be open on Saturday nights for the enjoyment of members and their guests. A watch party will be held on New Year’s Eve. Paul Eberts, Commander Los Amigos Class Party Los Amigos will hold its monthly class meeting at the church Sunday evening. Bring either pie or cake and service, for refreshments at six p. m.
