An Appreciation The church building is the result of the prayers and gifts of all the members of the congregation. We especially appreciate the interest which the friends of the congregation have taken in our building project. We are grateful to Trinity English Lutheran Church, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Dr. Paul H. Krauss, pastor, for the gift of the chureh pews, and to the Board of Home Missions and Church Extension of the Indiana Synod for the chancel furnishings. To Mr. William McGinty we express our appreciation for the gift of the tower cross. The Communion Rail was made by Pastor Donald Elder, for whose craftsmanship we are grateful. To all who have assisted in the erecting of our church, to the architects, the contractors, to the Board of American Missions of the United Lutheran Church and the Home Missions Committoe of the Indiana Synod, and to those who have aided us financially, we express our sincere appreciation. The church bells, presented by Mr. Robert Larsen and Miss Amelia Dryer in loving memory of Robert W. Larsen; and the altar vases and candelabra, presented by Pastor and Mrs. Heine in loving memory of Mrs. Heine’s father, Hany C. Buchman; together with the Hammond organ, will be dedicated, with the appointed orders, in January.
