less. While Speedway had the ball most of the time, they couldn’t seem to score. In the fourth quarter Dave Wilson passed to End Jerry Long for the second touchdown. They failed on the extra point. Later in the fourth period Ray Smith scored on a line plunge from the ten-yard line. The extra point was made by Ronny Bland, center. Speedway’s record for the season is five won and three lost.

This makes three projectors owned by the school with two being used in the elementary school and one in high school A disc recorder has been ordered for use mainly by the mfisic and speech' departments. High school attendance for the first six-weeks was: Grade 7, 99 per cent; Grade 8, 99 per cent; Grade 10, 98 per cent; Grade 11, 99 per cent; Grade 12, 99 per cent. This excellent attendance added to the high average reported for the elementary school last week makes our total attendance for the first six weeks very commendable.
