Seven members of the Speedway High School Chorus will be members of the AH State Chorus of one thousand members which will sing in Cadle Tabernacle, Friday night at one of the sessions of the State Teachers Association. Local students who will participate are: Beverly Myers, Phyllis Brown, Katie Brockman, Roberta Ratliff, Edward Hawkins, Bob Robbins, and, Charles Martin. t The football game with Beech Grove originally scheduled for October 21 will be played Monday, October 31, at 8:00 pan. The game will be played at Beech Grove. Mr. Don Crawford has donated a line marker to the high school athletic department. This is used to line the football field. The reserve football team was defeated by Park School last Monday night by a score of 20-0.

In the Hobby Section of the AA-U.W. Book and Toy Fair which will be held at L. S. Ayres and Co. auditorium from November 1-5, the following children from the Speedway Elementary School will have individual garden displays: Mary Ellen Fogarty, Janet Sue McCelland, Kent Davis, Karen Everhart, Ida Mae Fleming, Judith Thomas, Linda Logston, Kenneth Owings, Barbara Smith. Billy Owen, Marcia Lyons, Jerry Geddes, and Connie Mills. Members of the Fifth Grade Hobby Club in Miss Ridlen’s room will feature two group exhibits a cactus garden and a small terrarium. * ■fke exhibit is opened free to the public.
