The wiring is planned for the future as well as the present, so that desired new appliances and lights can be added readily. “The homes’ lighting is intended primarily to convey ideas of what can be done, with thoughtful planning and modern lamps and fixtures, to help eyesight and enhance cheerfulness and decorative values.” i The four homes will be open to the public between 2 and 10 a.m. every day from October 1 to 23 inclusive.
Noon-hour Lounge Monday, October 3, will mark the opening of a noon-hour lounge at the Y.W.CA, Central Branch, 329 North Pennsylvania Street, a Red Feather Service of the Community Fund. The lounge, located in Tuk-a-Pache Room in the basement of the building, will be open Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 pan.
