Robert Lewis, enlistment, Eleanor Anderson, service and social action, and Phyllis Pearson, recreation. Rev. and Mrs. Lewis are both well known in youth circles, having taught in conferences for sev-

Please warn your little boys and girls to keep back away from base lines and players at the Softball Diamond. Also, to keep their bicycles off the diamond and well out of range. The players do not want to see any of these kids get hurt, but their do want them to see and learn the game of baseball Players try to keep than back out of range but the small fry has a tendency to wander around in dangerous territory. Several little girls were suddenly discovered jumping rope on third base line and quite a few little boys either want to sit on first base line or stand too dose inside the catcher’s backstop. Please caution them to stay well out of range and to keep their hikes off the field while a game is in progress.

A player, running to catch a ball, has his eyes in the air and rightfully expects everything to be dear in front of him. A little child does not stand much chance for safety when he or she is in line with a running player or a flying basebalL Let the kids see the games, but please caution them and the players will continue to do all they can to protect them.

From all I*ve heard about it, it is really going to be what you might call superduper. All I can say to you is don’t miss out on any part of it I don’t intend to.” Special credit should be given to Mrs. Paul Eberts, Mrs. Frank Kreffel and Miss Margaret Eastridge, who walked miles through the wards explaining the contest and giving all patients, even those who are bedfast a chance to be a “500 mile race” winner.
