Following judging by the Unit, the essays were forwarded to the Americanism chairman of the 11th District of the Auxiliary where they will be in competition with essays from other units. The district winner will be announced in May and that essay then will be sent to the Department of Indiana for judging in the state-wide contest. Teachers who cooperated with the Auxiliary in conducting the contest were Miss Agnes Spencer, Miss Thelma Stout, and Mr. Richard C. Jordan, the superintendent of schools.
