monies, will be played under the direction of Fabien Sevitzky on Friday, March 25 at 8 p. m., in Cadle Tabernacle. This will be the last free “Meet Your Symphony” concert this year. Over 1,000 volunteers are selling “shares” for the orchestra’s 1949-1950 operating fund. Previous' seasons have been supported to a great extent by large donations from a small group of people, many of whom can no longer contribute such large sums of money. The current financial campaign is designed to obtain small donations directly from the symphony-goers and music lovers. Shares are $5 each and fractions x>f shares are from $1 up. The campaign .ends on Monday, March 21.

Members of the women’s committee of the Indiana State Symphony Society will have a luncheon and meeting in the Athenaeum at noon on Friday, March 18. Following the meeting, the members have been invited to a rehearsal in the Murat with Menahem Pressler, soloist for that week-end, and the orchestra. Tickets for the two pairs of concerts are available in Wasson’s 'record department and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra offices in the Firestone building, Ohio and Illinois streets.
