Howe High School: Miss Stoui. Mr. Northcott attended the Music Educators National Conference at Davenport, lowa, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Hi-Y class tourney for boys was completed Tuesday night. The seniors defeated the sophomores for the championship. The 7th and Bth grade gasketball teams had games scheduled with Brownsburg Thursday night. The G. A. A. is sponsoring a girls’ basketball class tourney March 21 and 22. Several members of the Speedway P.T.A. are engaged in taking a census of under school age children in Speedway. A good program is being planned, with a good speaker, plus another fine meal, and maybe we can prevail upon those good-looking gals to serve the meal again to make it even better. Everyone should make an effort to be there to show these kids just how much we really do appreciate their efforts on the hardwood. You’ll have to adihit they only made us unhappy six times in 26 tries. A good sports fan appreciates his ball club even if it might slip up once in a while.
