They were the guests of Mrs. Cecil McDonald and Mrs. Mary Gaskill If any of you remember Dr. McDonald talking about the wonderful fishing he enjoyed in Lake of the Woods, it was Mr. and Mrs. Miller who rent the camp where he stayed. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Galey of 1669 Fisher St., were called to Washington, D. C. Saturday. Their daughter is in a Washington hospital for an operation. A birthday dinner was given

Mr. Cleo Blackburn To Speak Next Sunday evening at 7 pan., the Senior C.Y J*, of the Speedway Christian Church, will sponsor the appearance of Mr. Cleo Blackburn, director of the Flanner House in Indianapolis. He will speak in the Church auditorium on the subject, “Flanner
House Serving Community Welfare.” Mr. Blackbum is a forceful, interesting speaker, and has been prominently known as a leader among the negro race. He has been instrumental in recent yean in fostering a better understanding and cooperation between the two races. Flanner House is known for its work among the underprivileged negroes of Marion County, and for helping many children to grow up into useful citizens who otherwise might become potential criminals.
