PLUGS WIN THREE OUT OF FOUR The Plugs won their first three games of the Sectional Tourney with ease, but found a tough Amo quintet too much for them in the final game. Danville hit three of their first four shots to take an early 6-2 lead, but the Sparkies managed to climb into a 14-11 first quarter lead and by the half held a commanding 27-13 advantage. Konny King led the Plugs to their 48-36 victory with 13 points. Speedway found theirs next rival, Brownsburg, more difficult to defeat. The Bulldogs drove to a 14-9 first quarter edge, but two field goals by Ray Stewart and one by Al Wiechers gave the Plugs the lead which they never relinquished. King paved the way with 10 points as Speedway won 43-33. The Naymen experienced no difficulty with the Plainfield Quakers, romping over them 5631. Jack Mayhugh and Wiechers held scoring honors with 17 and 15 points respectively. The final game appeared to be like the rest, a runaway for Speedway. They led at the first quarter 17-9 and at the half 3223 mainly on the shooting of their diminutive guard, King, who hit 14 points in the first half. From the start of the second half the Amo Aces began whittling at the lead. With five and a half minutes left in the game, a field goal by Harold Applegate tied the score at 42 all. Mayhugh ripped a long
