School News (Continued from page 1) school principal, spoke to the Business Education Section of the Marian County Teacher’s Institute last Saturday on “Business Education Contests.” Mrs. Strong, home economics teacher, attended a Marion County 4-H Club Leaders' Conference Tuesday. Dr. T. A. Hanna has been giving physical examinations to high school students. This examination is a part of our health and physical education program. The modem philosophy of physical education is that all students should in physical education classes but should be required to participate only in the activities that will not be too strenuous for their physical welfare. The U. S. history classes, accompanied by their instructor, Mr. Dale Weller, attended a session of the Indiana General Assembly Tuesday afternoon. On Thursday the senior government classes attended a session of the legislature. The dates for baccalaureate and commencement have been set. Baccalaureate services will be May 22; commencement is scheduled for May 27.
