Girl Scout Troop No. 189 Sends Food Each member of Girl Scout Troop No. 189 brought a box of dried food, wrapped as a Christmas gift t'o the Christmas party at the home of their leader, Mrs. Harold Marvel. The boxes will be packed and sent to a Girl Scout troop in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. This English troop received a similar box 7 from Troop No. 189 last year and many of the girls have received notes of appreciation from the girls of Colwyn Bay troop. Hospital Christmas tray favors were made at the party and refreshments of ice cream and home-made cookies were served by Patrol No. 3 who made the cookies in connection with the cook badge. Special guests included Mesdames Ernest Healey, John Vail and George Owings, troop committee members. The members of Troop No. 189 especially want to thank the Red Cross, L. S. Ayres, and everyone who has helped them in any way this year and wish for all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
