WEATHER WISDOM A circle around the moon means storm. As many stars as are in the circle, so many days before it will rain. When the scent of your pipe is retained longer than usual, it often forebodes a storm. ' A deep clear sky of fleckless blue, breeds storms within a day or two. If metal plates and dishes sweat look out for bad weather. Blue sky in the northwest is a sign of approaching dear weather.

During a recent year, 550 persons were killed and 25,000 injured riding bicycles in accidents involving motor vehides.
