N. D. Cory is attending a building conference at Indiana University today and tomorrow. Mr. Cory is a member of the state building survey committee.

The National Congress of Parents and Teachers at their recent meeting in Cleveland announced that they had a membership of 5,127,896. The next national convention in 1949 will be held in St. Louis. The school board announced the appointment of Mr. Jordan, superintendent, and Mr. Thompson as high school principal last week. With these appointments all vacancies in the Speedway schools have been filled with the exception of choral music, and a successor to Mr. Thompson in commercial subjects.
