Journalism Field Day at Butler Saturday, May 1, has been set as the date for the 15th annual Butler University Journalism Field Day for high school students Dr. DeForest O’Dell, head of the journalism department, announced today. High School students from all parts of the state are expected to participate in the one day program and take part in writing contests, a new feature added to this year’s field day. Representatives of the three Indianapolis daily newspapers will speak on “My Most Outstanding Assignment” at the opening convocation, Dr. O’Dell indicated.
