Mr. Carl T. Raia show* Mrs. Stena Marie Twiaame one of the posters to be used ia the Red Cross “Right Breakfast** campaign. Beth are members of the Nutritioo Committee and leaden in the campaign. The nutrition service of the Indianapolis chapter of the American Red Cross will launch a two-week “Right Breakfast’’ campaign beginning February 8, Mr. Charles Weiss, chairman of the local Rod Cross nutrition committee, announced recently. A survey has shown that two-thirds of the school children leave home in the morning with little or no breakfast. Consequently, their vitality and efficiency are lowered for the remainder of the day and that tired mid-morning feeling is a result. But this is not only true of children. Many adults fail to eat a right breakfast because they are in a hurry, afraid of getting fat, or just plain not hungry. In the opinion of the Red Cross nutrition service, all of these problems can be solved by getting up just a few minutes earlier to eat a right breakfast that provides attractive, nutritious foods which, consequently, eliminate many of those fattening between-meal snacks. And in so doing, a right breakfast will actually save food and money by properly dividing the food needs for the day. v “A right breakfast can make you feel better all day, tire less quickly and thus work more efficiently. It will help a wise homemaker stretch her food dollars,” Mr. Weiss declared.
