Add % cap evaporated milk, % cup water or pea liquor, % tsp. salt, % tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. Worcestershire, 1 cup prated cheese. Cook over boiling water until thick, stirring constantly. Then pour over casserole mixture and top with 1 cup bread crumbs to which 1 tbsp, melted butter has been added. Bake in gas oven at 375* for 30 minutes or until crumbs are golden brown. Serves A • • • If you find raisins sink to the bottom of a cake, first put them into a pan set over a low flame. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. When heated add them to cake batter. • • • Don't stuff steel wool in the oven flue outlet of a gas range because It prevents free circulation of air. Freshly heated air gives best heat radiation for stfccessful baking and broiling results. .• * • Remember the hungry of the world before you throw out stale bread. Use up dqr bread by cutting It into strips, toasting it very dry for use as a substitute for crackers with soup or salads. .• • • To 'save fuel, put utensils over the top burner before lighting the gas. Night with Power & Light Over WISH The popular half-hour radio dramatization, “Favorite Story” with Ronald Colman, presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company each Thursday night over WISH, will be heard at a new time, 6:30 p. m., effective with the Feb. 5 show.
