Gene Ferguson’s of Los Angeles! and reported having a wonderful: time. I Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Norman and son and Mr. and Mrs. John H. i Pinkerton and daughter spent j the week end in Cincinnati. The Pinkertons drove op to Tennessee 1 for a business trip and plan to return by way of Bardstown, Kentucky, where they will visit the “Old Kentucky Home.” Mr. and' Mrs. Herman Perkins of 15th street, entertained at dinner Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. R. Es Campbell of Rockville Road, and Mrs. C. E. McClellan and children of Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Updike and family spent several days this week visiting friends in northern Indiana and Sandusky, Ohio. They treated the children to an 18 hour boat trip across Lake Michigan. Mrs. Olavi Engle and Betty accompanied by Ray Smoot spent Sunday in Cincinnati and Coney Island. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Gummere and son accompanied by Miss Wilma Hicks of Alexandria, Ind., will attend the wedding of Miss Leanna Dahmer and Russell Cunningham in Elkins, West Virginia on August 9th. Miss Hicks is a cousin of Mr. Cunningham and will play for the reception following the ceremony. Floyd Farley and his father, Omer Farley, will return this week end after a tour to San Francisco and other points west, Floyd Farley attending the Lions International Convention at San Francisco, California. They also attended the rodeo at Cheyenne, Wyoming on a side trip. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Gebauer and son, Charles, have returned home after a vacation trip to Cleveland, Ohio x and Niagara Falls. Mrs. Helen Thomas Robinson will leave Sunday afternoon for Northwestern University where she will attend a two weeks session of the Church and Choral Music Institute. While there Mrs. Robinson will also have daily coaching sessions in piano. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Siefers and children spent the week end in Cincinnati. While there, they ran into the Pinkertons and the Normans who were also in Cincinnati for the week end.
