This helps most to assure best service on busy Party Lines. Short calls mean that you and your telephone neighbors can make more calls.

i

INTERRUPTIONS

When you pick up a Party Line telephone and find that the line is already in use, the friendly, thoughtful, courteous thing to do is to hang up gently.

School News The Lucky Horseshoe Club in Mrs. Wagle’s room had a musical program Wednesday afternoon. This was the last meeting of the dub during the present school year. The J. C. L. The meeting honored the four graduating seniors who have been dub members, Mildred Rosner, Katharine Ziegehnueller and Caryl Covell for four years and Maryann Renard for three years. An enjoyable program, planned by Katharine Ziegehnueller (co-counsel), Geo. Ziegehnueller and Beverly Myers was presented as a radio skit. Mildred Rosner (counsel), Donna Thorne and Betty Engle conducted the club’s annual contest on mythology in a novel manner. Margie McDaniels, as winner, was presented the J. C. L. charm by Miss Spencer, club sponsor. Caryl Covell, Maryann Renard and Delores Coleman were in charge of the banquet menu.
