The Speedway neighborhood can well be proud of their- share in making this possible. The proceeds of this annual sale are used for the maintenance of the Girl Scout camping program which includes the summer periods of established camping at Camp Dellwood, the Day Camp program carried on at three sites for six weeks during the summer and a new camping program for older girls which will include camping at .McCormick’s Creek and two planned trips. To one and' all, who ate our cookies, we say “thank you!” x There will be a special called meeting of the Speedway Leaders* Club Monday, April 21 at 1:30 p. m., at the Town Hall. They flew back Wednesday and became the proud grandparents of Douglas Allen Cardin, born to Mr. and Mrs. William Cardin at the Methodist Hospital Friday morning. Joan came home Thursday, but the baby will have to stay until he reaches the big weight of five pounds. He only weighed four and one-half pounds at birth.
