New legislation was discussed. The North Central Music Educators Conference will convene in Indianapolis April 9-12. iFriday night is “Indiana Night” and the state music groups will present a select all-state choruS of 500 voices who will rehearse all day with Dan Craig, vocal director with Fred Waring and will pre-

sent a concert Friday night in the Arsenal Tech gym in connection with an all-state orchestra playing under Thor Johnson, director of the Cincinnati Symphony. The program will be enhanced with a large processional and fanfare. Students' from the Speedway High School Choir who will participate are Shirley Gaddis, Kathleen Althoff, Joy Schoeneway, Annabelle Dickerson, Dick Hartley, Robert iLogue and Charles Sutphin.

The annual senior play will be presented in the high school gym Friday evening, April 25. School will reopen on (Monday morning, April 7 at 8:20 a. m. 'Nobody knows where pins disappear to because they are always pointed in one direction and headed in another.
