Shrine Indoor Circus Planned for March 31 - April 13 Spring must be here for here is news that Murat Shrine Temple will bring their big Indoor! Circus to Indianapolis beginning] March 31 thru April 13, with a' total of 36 performances, and seating capacity for more than 100,000 persons. Murat Shriners are known throughout the world for their support of their own hospitals for the underprivileged child, regardless of race, color or creed. The more than 10,000 Murat Nobles will be selling tickets as well as acting host to many thousand kids during the Indianapolis engagement, according to Dr. Wm. Bodenhamer, Murat Potentate. Youth For Christ Services There will be a special service Sunday evening at the (Brightwood (Methodist Church beginning at 7:30 p. m. A sound motion picture, “A Man of Faith,” will be shown. This is a fine picture. One that you will remember. Following the picture there will be a song service and a message by the pastor, Rev. J. R. Flanigan. Everybody is invited. Richard Harbison, a junior in the high school art class, has entered some work in the Scholastic Art Contest. About 1800 entries were expected this year from schools of Indiana. RED CROSS (Continued from Page 1) recreational events are arranged and sponsored by these Red Cross workers. Arts and skills workers teach patients how to make such things as metal jewelry, leather keycases, billfolds, hand-painted scarfs, etc. All this combats the boredom of long and lonely hours of hospitalization. Canteen Corps These workers take care of refreshments for special occasions given for the patients. Motor Corps The Motor Corps transports, on request, patients to recreational events and serves in other capacities. Nurses* Aides The ladies assist the graduate nurses in caring for the veteran patients. Blood Donors The Red Cross recently started a new service of providing blood donors for patients in veterans hospitals. First Aid Stations A new Red Cross first aid service was established last (December, when first aid stations were setup at various filling stations near spots of numerous wrecks and accidents.
